Dynasty Warriors 7 with Xtreme Legends (Japanese: 真・三國無双６ with 猛将伝) is a definitive edition of Tecmo Koei’s crowd-combat action series. It combines the full Dynasty Warriors 7 experience with the Xtreme Legends expansion in a single package, delivering sweeping, cinematic battles set during China’s Three Kingdoms era—based on the classic Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Play through the intersecting Story Modes of Wei, Wu, Shu, and Jin, complete with dramatic cutscenes and large-scale “one versus thousands” combat. The Xtreme Legends content adds new playable officers, stages, weapons, and challenges, expanding the roster to over 60 characters and deepening the game’s replay value.
Key modes include Legend Mode, which spotlights personal stories and special scenarios; the returning Free Mode for replaying any stage with any officer; and Challenge Mode, featuring score- and time-based trials. Combat emphasizes fluid, fast-paced action: switch between two equipped weapons mid-combo, unleash powerful Musou attacks, and enhance your build with weapon seals and character growth options. Solo and cooperative play are supported.
Whether you’re a longtime fan or a newcomer, this combined edition offers a robust, content-rich entry point into the Dynasty Warriors series.
